History of the 1963 Penny
As all we know the US was a colony of British. So there are dollars and cents used but still a cent coin is called a penny since it is known as in the UK. The Lincoln cent was used in 1909 to celebrate the hundred years from the birth date of Abraham Lincoln. This coin was made to give tribute the Lincoln famous us president.
