History of  1952 Half Dollar

From 1948 to 1963 were a larger number of Franklin half dollars made so most of these coins are common. This half-dollar is the last coin series that comes with 90 percent silver and so is important in US coinage history. These coins come with a photo of the president and a design made by Jean A. Houdon. The reverse design of these coins was not liked by the US people since there was a crack in the Liberty Bell.

Bugs Bunny Error
