History of the 1788 Quarter
The 1788 quarters belong to a series made by the USA Mint. The series was first time introduced in 1999, where for ten weeks quarters were made for each state. These coins come minting date and the date when related states join a union. This complete series takes more than ten years to complete. Each state commemorated when it joined the Union. In 1787 Delaware state joined the union and the 1999 quarter made for it. The last cins made for Hawaii in 2008 joined 1959.
The 1788 quarter terms were used for commemorating states that joined the union in 1788. These coin were made from 1999 to 2000. The state’s coins are Georgia, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, South Carolina, New Hampshire, Virginia, and New York.
Each coin has a related state on the back side and the front side comes with a photo of President George Washington.
For each state, more than 1788 quarters were made. That is higher as compared to other coins without considering the North Carolina coin.
In 1789 North Carolina joined the Union and more than a billion coins were made.
This series was made for collectors and more than half of US citizens have those coins.

In 1788 Georgia joined the Union and there were about 939,932,000 Georgia Quarters coins made on 19th July 1999.
On these coins, there are words Wisdom, Justice, and Moderation written as the motto of the state. It also has a peach surrounded by oak branches tree on the backside. These coins were made on July 19, 1999, and their minting number was 1,346,624,000. Connecticut 1788 Quarter is the 2nd coin having a 1788 minting date. On the back side of these coins, there is a photo of the Charter tree that shows the US self-governance and history. The normal coins having nickel and copper value is one to five dollars and proof coins can be about 68 dollars.

There were 1,163,784,000 Massachusetts Quarters minted in 2000. On 6th February 1788 Massachusetts joined the Union. The first coin was released on 3rd Januar 200. The Coin MS69 grade sold for 3760 dollars in 2017. The 1788 D MS68 grade sold in 2018 for 400 dollars.

At the lower part of the coin motto is E Pluribus Unum (Out of many, one) and the minting date there.
