1881 (P) No mint mark Silver Dollar Value

History of 1881 Silver Dollar

In 1881 year third time the Morgan dollars coins were made. Their name is due to  George T. Morgan. Morgan traveled from the UK to work at the mint and took the post of  Chief Engraver,

The Morgan dollars were made in larger numbers. Morgan and Chief Engraver, William Barber made the design of coins but the design of MOrgan was selected by Mint Director, Henry Linderman.
